I can't wait to see your creations!!

This weeks "Story"

I did this crazy thing a while back and actually joined a fan club. This is by no means a normal fan club, we actually do things as a group and for charity.

Many of you probably have guessed that I am an animal person, specifically cats. Which is why I fully support this organization. Big Cat Rescue. This is one of our primary charities as a group and we encourage donations!

Who is Big Cat Rescue?

Big Cat Rescue is the largest accredited sanctuary in the world dedicated entirely to abused and abandoned big cats. We are home to over 100 lions, tigers, bobcats, cougars and other species most of whom have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, saved from being turned into fur coats, or retired from performing acts. Our dual mission is to provide the best home we can for the cats in our care and educate the public about the plight of these majestic animals, both in captivity and in the wild, to end abuse and avoid extinction.
I'm not saying that you need to drop what you are doing and run over to make a donation, you don't have to. My purpose for this is to spread awareness. Ignorance and avoidance is no longer acceptable in situations like these. It take a community as a whole to make the changes that are needed around the country. Simply spread awareness and encourage enlightenment.

Just reading about their most recent rescue brought tears to my eyes. It's amazing that they were able to find homes for all of the cats, however, my heart aches for the losses.

Perfect Sentiments Challenge #78 - Dry Embossing

Well happy Wednesday blog friends!  Thanks for dropping in to check out my card for the latest Perfect Sentiments Challenge!

Our lovely sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter!  There are so many simply adorable stamps in their store you won't know when to stop!

The Paper Shelter is generously giving our winner this week a $20 gift voucher for their shop. Wow! :)

Now on to the challenge ...

Create a card with a sentiment for the occasion of your choice and include some dry embossing on your card.  Don't forget to put a sentiment on the front of your card too!

For my card this week I used a digi image from The Paper Shelter called Lets Go to Sleep.  This adorable little girl with her puppy reminded me of my little niece Lauren and her favorite stuffed toy (a puppy she got from Auntie, of course!).

Get inspired!  Visit the blogs of my fellow DT members (links in my sidebar) and then create a card of your own (don't forget the sentiment on the front!) and join us for a chance at this week's fab prize!

Good Luck!

Blessings,
