12 Tags of 2013 - June Edition

Hey Bloggers and Tim  Fans!  I'm back with my version of Tim's latest edition of the 12 Tags of 2013.

June's tag features some amazing distress products - Markers, Paints, Stains and of course Ink :)  Check out Tim's post to see how he created his tag (click Tim's Tag below)

I don't have the large dragonfly from Tim and I just used my dragonfly stamp on a tag a couple of months ago so I wanted to go another direction for this one while still being able to use Tim's techniques.  The stamp I used is a reverse silhouette from Hero Arts.  I love this stamp because it is so versatile.  I can stamp it in any color on plain or patterned paper and get a different and look each time and now thanks to Tim, I can watercolor it too! His step by step instructions were so easy to follow and I was amazed at how much I liked the result when I did it on my own! (I'm not a painter by any means, but Tim's technique makes it easy!)

Here's my tag:

The background was created following Tim's techniques from this post.  I used a bunch of different Wendy Vecchi stamps that I had on hand to create the background tag.  It looked so cool on its own I almost hated to cover it up with the watercolor image!

For more inspiration check out the many links on Tim's post from people just like you who created their own version of this tag!
