Perfect Sentiments Challenge #73 - Sympathy/Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday!  Oh - and happy April!  Can you believe it's here already?  Today I have the first challenge of the month from The Perfect Sentiment for you.  We're starting off the month with a great sponsor too!   Robyn's Fetish is offering our winner this week 5 free digis from her shop!

All you have to do for a chance to win our prize is create a card that fits with our theme, make sure your sentiment is on the front of your card, pop it on your blog and then link up with us at The Perfect Sentiment!

The Challenge:  Create a card with a sentiment of Sympathy or Thinking of You.  Remember, your sentiment must be on the front of your card!

Need some inspiration?  Check out the blogs of my super-talented fellow DT gals (links in my sidebar)!

For this week's challenge I tried something I've never done before.  I had this great digi from Robyn's Fetish and I decided to see if I could make the whole card digitally.  I opened the stamp in PSE and used the colorbrushes and effects to fill in the stamp.  It was an interesting experience - I need to take a few lessons on that software - it does a lot more than I'm using it for!  Anyway, the stamp turned out pretty cool and I created a bit of word art on the front of the card as well.  Printed the whole thing out and mounted it to a card base - done!

Blessings,
