Whew! All caught up before the last tag comes out! It's been a whirlwind for me since I found this awesome challenge so late in the series but as usual, Linda over at The Funkie Junkie Boutique has been a great inspiration!
So Tag 11 of the 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style has the most stunning background! Yea, yea I know I've been inspired my most of the backgrounds, but that's where the techniques I love are! The background on this tag has embossed resist, distress, and over-stamping. Linda's tag was just beautiful so I couldn't resist (no pun intended).
Here's a close up of my wreath...
I created it by gluing about 5 punched pine branches to a rosette. I love the soft, feathery look I got. The gold leaves behind it are actually pieces from an old necklace.
One more tag to go!
Oh wow, your background is definitely stunning too but your wreath is totally out of this world, - love what you did with it! Great adaption of Linda's original!!
ReplyDeleteWow, fabulous Cheryl! I really love the way your flower came out, it's just so beautiful. What a great idea to use the branches on the rosette! And those gold jewelry leaves are absolutely perfect here. Stunning take on Tag #11 - so glad that you were able to catch up, even despite the late start!
