12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style #6

Whew! Halfway!  I know I'm flying through these, but I only just found the challenge yesterday so I'm trying to catch up before it's done (they're on #11).  What inspired me on this tag was the great Tim Holtz Alterations Pine Tree Die.  I love mine and haven't pulled it out lately.

I also liked the vintage paper in the background, but I did my treatment of it a bit differently than Linda.  Instead of beating it up with packing tape (sorry, I just don't have that kind of patience), I coated mine with a couple of coats of Snow Cap Distress Stain and then tore the edges while it was still damp.  Then I used Old Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain DI and added a bit of Bundled Sage when that was all dry.
