Circus Circus!

This card is done for the Saturated Canary challenge this week. The theme is to design a card based on a song. For this, I chose:

Arabesque, Nightwish from their recent released CD, Imaginaerum.

The over all theme for this CD is a bit like an evil circus. I absolutely love Arabesque because the song is an all drums instrumental, and makes me think of the girls twirling in the air on ribbons.

The SC character I chose for this is one I've been eyeing for a while now, just didn't have a use for it. Until now.

These two go together perfectly, and came out really cute with my new card-stock I haven't decided on a sentiment yet, but that will come with time. No fancy techniques used other than my brand new prismacolor pencil set. (I hear a choir of angels sing when I open this box!) I got the little flowers from Michaels a long time ago.

Miss You Already....

Thanks for dropping in today, hope your holiday season is going well - with Christmas just over and the New Year on the way I am trying to get organized and find some extra time to create in my schedule! So what am I doing? Well, right now it's 1:30am and I'm up creating, lol...probably not the solution I'm looking for considering I have to be at work in 5 hours but...

I created this card using one of my new favorite paper pads - Little Yellow Bicycle's Winterings 6x6 pad. I just love the soft colors and patterns in this one and am already on my 2nd pad! The adorable stamp is a digi from Saturated Canary which I colored using my combination Prismacolor & Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. A few pieces of matching cardstock and ribbon, and a button from MyMind's Eye and isn't she cute?!
