Hey all! Thanks for dropping by today :) I have a new card for you to check out. This one is for Creative Card Crew's challenge #36 - White on White.
Our wonderful sponsor this week is Marianne Designs. She is generously giving our winner for this challenge a wonderful prize package!
Ready for the prize package? Here it is...
I don't make a lot of white on white cards, but I really like how this one turned out!
My stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs and I used the McGill Paper Flowers Mini Blossoms punch to punch out each of the tiny posies around the sentiment. I shaped the flowers using my stylus kit and added pearls once they were stuck down. The border is an EK Success edge punch.
For more white on white inspiration, visit the blogs of my fellow CCC design team members and don't forget to drop by Marianne Designs to check out their shop!
All you have to do to be eligible to win the great prize package from Marianne Designs is create a card that fits with our theme, pop it on your blog and then link up over at Creative Card Crew. Can't wait to see what you create!
Blessings,

Compendium of Curiosities Vol 2 Challenge - Custom Foam Stamps
At long last the day has arrived! I anxiously awaited the arrival of my copy of Tim Holtz's new book - Compendium of Curiosities II and just couldn't wait to get started on the challenges over at Studio L3!
So The Challenge Begins! Our first challenge is to create a project using the technique found on page 66 of Compendium of Curiosities Vol. 2. This technique is all about creating your own custom foam stamps. I wanted my stamped images to almost blend into the background so the stamps on the tag are second generation. I kind of like the way they turned out!
I also used a couple of other techniques I've learned from Tim - the background of my tag uses his blended spritz & flick technique and the butterflies were created using his ghosting technique.
Enjoy!
Blessings!

Wizard of Oz for Christ
I am in love with the images from Saturated Canary these days...When I saw these adorable Wizard of Oz digis I knew I had to make something with them for my sweet Shania who is a HUGE fan of the movie. She is also a wonderful Christian young woman and so I wanted to incorporate that as well. Check the inside of the cards to see how I did that :)
Find Christ where you are!
