Creative Card Crew Challenge #32 - Masculine

Hey all, thanks for stopping by!  Today I have a card for you that I created for the latest challenge from Creative Card Crew.  Our challenge for this fortnight is to create a masculine card and our lovely sponsors over at The Scrapping Center are offering our lucky winner a $15 voucher for their shop!

My card this week is pretty simple - but most guys don't really care for bling and frills so I suppose it's fitting.  I started out with just a plain piece of Bazzill cardstock in Forest Green then stamped it with parts from Hero Arts Delicate Leaf Clusters stamp set (available at Scrapping Center) with Versamagic chalk ink in Sahara Sand and Color Box chalk ink in Roan.  I used a stamp-off technique to get a lighter/shadowed look with the stamps.  The sentiment & leaf on the lighter panel were created in my digital scrapbooking software and printed on a piece of light tan cardstock then popped up on the front of the card.  A little ribbon, a few buttons and some stitches with twine finish out the card.  I wanted to emphasize the edge of the stamped card so I touched the edges with a white paint dabber.

Join the fun!  Create a card of your own that fits with our theme, pop it on your blog and link up over at Creative Card Crew.

Looking forward to seeing what you create!
