I have tons of Christian stamps and it's been awhile since I've used this one so I thought it was time to give it a workout :) The Happy Birthday Sentiment is on the inside of this one.
I created the background by applying several light colors of distress ink to watercolor paper and then spritzing them with water to blend more. The Spellbinders dies were cut from white cardstock and then I covered them in embossing powder - flicked the back to remove some of the powder and embossed, it came out with this cool antiqued look. A few pearls and some ribbon and away we go!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love this! So pretty- a must have die to add to my list lol. I've tried that embossing technique before and it didn't come out anywhere near as pretty as yours did; I'll have to try it again. Love the distress ink/water background as well- definitely will have to give that a go too. Awesome card!
