Perfect Sentiments Challenge #61 - Winter Wonderland

Hey all!  Thanks for dropping by today to see the latest challenge for Perfect Sentiments!  Living in Minnesota I get to experience winter to the fullest - snow...sleet...freezing rain...cold (and I mean -20 F not counting the windchill).  Don't get me wrong, I love winter with the gorgeous snowy landscapes and ice covered lakes I feel blessed that we have 4 very distinct seasons here and each has it's own charm.  This year we are truly having a winter wonderland - we have just enough snow and the temps have been downright balmy (it was 26F today!).  My favorite thing to do in the winter?  Curl up inside with a warm cup of cocoa and a good book!  Hope you'll join me this week :)

The Challenge:  Create a card with a sentiment for winter (sentiment must be on the front of the card)

The Twist:  Use a winter image or any embellishments, embossing folders, etc. to give your card a winter feel.  Think outside the box!  Cups of cocoa...

Here's my card this week:

Supplies for this project
Cardstock:  Truly Yours – Black Card Base; Bazzill – Deep Nautical Blue, Coconut Swirl
Decorative Paper:  My Mind’s Eye
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs - Snowman
Inks, Stains, Paints & Colored Pencils:  Versafine Ink – Onyx Black; Copic Fine Liner .005 – Black; Prismacolor Pencils; Sharpie Paint Pen - Gold
Dies, Punches & Embossing Folders:  Sizzix Embossing Folder – Swirls; Our Daily Bread Designs Spellbinders Die – Window Frame
Accessories & Other Stuff:  Flowersoft – Prisma White; American Crafts - Ribbon, Jingle Bells, Twine

Now it's your turn!  Stop by the blogs of my fellow Perfect Sentiments Design Team Members (the list is in my sidebar) and get inspired!  After you've done that, think warm thoughts and create a card for Winter Wonderland!  Link it up at The Perfect Sentiment for a chance to win our great prize this week from Meljen's Designs - 4 free digis from her shop!  Check it out :)

Can't wait to see what you all come up with this week!

Blessings,
