Looking for a New Look?

Well, it's a new year so I thought it was time for a new look for the blog.  (Besides, I needed to take down the Christmassy looking one!).  Did you know that you can use MyMemories digital software to create blog headers and backgrounds?!  Yep it's as easy as creating a scrapbook page!

Here's the simple instructions:

1. Open MyMemories Digital Scrapbooking Software  (if you don't have it you can get a great deal on it by using the special code located in my sidebar!).
2. Choose "Design Your Own"
3. Click the tab for custom size and make your "page" 1100 pixels wide x 300 pixels high (mine is actually 1150 wide, but I use a wide-screen blog page).
4. Create your blog header using the same method you would use to create a scrapbook page or any other craft in MyMemories.
5. Once you're done, click "Share" and save page as a jpeg.  Don't worry about saving it  at a certain size, you already set the size!  Then you can apply the header to your blog the same way you would any other pre-made header.
