Perfect Sentiments Challenge #56 - Piece it Together!

Happy Wednesday!  You know that means it's time for a new challenge over at The Perfect Sentiment...

The Challenge:  Create a card with a sentiment for the occasion of your choice (your sentiment must be on the front of your card).

The Twist:  Create a background for your card from scraps.

We all have those little scraps and pieces we just can't part with, yet we wonder why we keep them. Grab your stash of scraps and pieces and create the background for your card.

This week's challenge is sponsored by Shelly's Images!

Our lucky, randomly drawn winner this week will receive one free digi from her store.

Be sure to check out the blogs of my fellow Design Team Members (there's a link list in the right margin) and get inspired by their amazing work!  After that, get out those scraps and create!  Link up your project at The Perfect Sentiment for a chance to win our prize this week!

I am (among other things) also a quilter, so this was a perfect opportunity for me to quilt with paper :)  Especially now that the weather here has turned colder and I'm always reaching for a warm quilt to cuddle up in!

Supplies for this project
Cardstock:  Bazzill - Coconut Swirl, Cocoa
Decorative Paper:  Scraps from my stash!
Inks, Stains, Paints & Embossing:  Copic Multiliner .03 Black
Accessories & Other Stuff:  Prima Flowers; American Crafts Ribbon

  1. I think this quilter's design is called Log Cabin. I love it! The bright colors are so fun!
