Compendium of Curiosities Vol 2 Challenge #3 - Marbled Stains

Hey all, I'm back today with another cool technique from Tim Holtz's new book Compendium of Curiosities II.  This card was created for the Compendium of Curiosities II Challenge over at Studio L3.  The technique I used in the background can be found of page 46 of Tim's book.


Supplies
Cardstock:  Bazzill – Walnut Cream, Jet Black, Coconut Swirl
Stamps:  Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz – Stuff to Say, Shabby French; Hero Arts – Classic Fabric Design
Inks, Stains and Paints:  Ranger Distress Stain – Picket Fence, Aged Mahogany, Tumbled Glass, Dusty Concord; Ranger Distress Ink – Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain; Memento – Rich Cocoa; Colorbox – Chestnut Roan
Accessories & Other Stuff:  Idea-ology – File Tabs, Jump Ring, Reinforcer; 7 Gypsies – Mini Keys; American Crafts Twine

    It's gorgeous, Cheryl! I love the colors and the brocade-like background, and the layering is just fantastic. I'm so glad you joined the CC2 Challenge!!!
