Perfect Sentiments Challenge #23

Our challenge theme over at Perfect Sentiments this week is to create a card with a sentiment for Easter.  The "twist" is to use three or more colors from the color story below in the design of your card.

So here's my card for this week's challenge:
Supplies
Cardstock:  Stamping Bella – Best White; Bazzill – Ocean Breeze
Decorative Paper: 7 Gypsies – Venice 6x6 pad; The Girls’ Paperie – Whimsy; Prima – Romantique Paper pad
Stamps:  Mo Manning digital stamp – Savannah on Easter; Hero Arts – Easter Sentiment
Prismacolor Pencils:   Light Peach, Blush Pink, Pink , Process Red, Carmine Red, Light Sky Blue, Cloud Blue, Light Cerulean Blue, Beige, Sienna Brown, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Cream
Accessories & Other Stuff:   Hero Arts Buttons

I love this digital image from Mo Manning, she is just so sweet!  I wanted to keep the rest of the card soft and simple so that she would really stand out in her frilly Easter dress. So I colored the image using my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and then created a soft patchwork background with some simple piercing for her.  A couple of buttons for embellishment and voila!

This card will head up to my dear Sally as part of her Easter card bundle to send out to all the little grandmas who live at her assisted living facility.

will be one digi image provided by Shelly's Images.
