Be Still

It's time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Stamping In Time Challenge!  This week's challenge is to create a project using a favorite scripture verse and to explain why it's a favorite.  For details about the challenge and some amazing inspiration from the DT, check out the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog!

My favorite verse, and one I come back to again and again is Psalm 46:40

Be Still and know that I am God.

I love this verse and return to it time and again because daily life is so busy with work and family and other distractions that it's easy to get caught up and forget what's important.  I have this verse scribbled in my journal, tacked to the bulletin board in my craft room, as a bookmark in my bible, and on a sticky note stuck to my computer screen at work.  It's important for me to quiet myself and spend a few minutes each day just being in His presence.
