A Time for Every Purpose...

Autumn is a time of reflection for me...a time to try to review the last year objectively and think about the journey; about things accomplished, and things left undone.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.     ~Ecclesiastes 3:1

This verse from Ecclesiastes, while so very simple, contains so much of God's advice for us.  Since He governs the world and all the things in it, and has determined the operations that will happen at particular times.  In those times, such things may be done with success, but if we neglect to do them then we are departing from the path He has set us on.
