CPC July Blog Hop - Retro & Vintage

I am so excited about our Christian Paper Craft's Blog Hop today!  I really love the look of retro and being a huge history buff I just love vintage looks. For more details, you can see our blog hop details here!

For my card today, I chose a great stamp from hero arts.  My Grandmother always had Lilies of the Valley growing next to her front step - a place we grandchildren used to hang out a lot.  When I saw this stamp I had to get it because it reminded me of Grandma.

Cardstock:  Bazzill - Black, Charcoal, Walnut Cream
Decorative Paper:  Webster's Pages
Stamps:  Hero Arts Clings - Silhouette Bells, Our Daily Bread Designs - Grow In Grace
Ink:  Versamark Embossing Ink, Versacolor - Black, Zing White Embossing Powder
Accessories:  Prima Butterfly & Flower, Hero  Hues Pearls, Spellbinders Lacy Squares Die

  1. Cheryl this is adorable! Love the fun accents and the verse is perfect with the flowers. What a sweet memory growing up!! Thanks for playing along with us at Christian Paper Crafts and joining in with our Blog hop! You are such a faithful sister in Christ! God bless.

  2. This is so the b/w with pops of color! I immediately thought of the song Lily of the Valley. The refrain:
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

  3. Beautiful work, Cheryl! Love that bright green flower and accents and the soft pink butterfly contrasted with the black and white. Beautiful and love the scripture too! May He grow us in grace more like our Lord, more beautiful and more lovely!

  4. Cheryl this is very, very beautiful! Love the butterfly, the Designer paper. Beautiful!

  5. Very gorgeous and what a lovely reminder to share. TFS :)
